Saturday at Dragon Con 2006 (Andromeda, Battlestar Galactica and the CBR Lunch)
Tonight I'm posting my pictures from the Saturday morning Andromeda Panel, the Battlestar Galactica Panel, and the CBR lunch.


After the Parade, I ducked into the last bit of the Andromeda Panel. The Battlestar Galactica Panel was next, so I went in hoping to get a better seat (and it worked).

From left to right, we have Kevin Sorbo, Brandy Ledford and Steve Bacic.


James Callis (Baltar) takes the stage.


Aaron Douglas (Chief Tyrol) takes the stage.


Tahmoh Penikett (Helo) takes the stage.








Richard Hatch (original Apollo/Tom Zarek) arguably got asked the most questions at the panel.


The Boxing Incident. Aaron Douglas arguably led the panel. He's a fun, charismatic guy. He's really great working crowds. Anyway, he starts going into this rant about how Tahmoh looks like a professional boxer, and that the panel looks like one of those pre-fight events where boxers talk to the press.

So Tahmoh and Aaron do a face off. iirc, Tahmoh then picked up Aaron...to the cheers of the crowd. Aaron Douglas went to the microphone and said something to the effect of "I bent my wang on his shoulder." Hilarious.



The BSG panel was a lot of fun. As I said before, Richard Hatch fielded a lot of questions. Kate Vernon is apparently under the impression that everybody thinks Ellen Tigh is a Cylon. Personally, my short list is as follows: Gaeta, Dualla, and Billy.

Yes, I know that Billy was killed. Having him turn out to be a cylon agent would be a way to bring him back onto the show, though.












I really should mention that Dr. Kevin R. Grazier is the blond man in all those pictures. He's the science advisor for Battlestar Galactica and Eureka.

The panelists were lots of fun, albeit tight-lipped about Season 3. The only thing they promised was that it would be dark.


As I left the panel, I spotted this guy. As you can see, he's dressed to end someone.

Saturday afternoon was the CBR lunch. My digital camera's battery was nearly dead, so I didn't take as many pictures at the lunch as I usually do. I had a lot of fun talking with Perry's wife Dawn and Charles RB. I also got to play with Solaris' son Finn a bit.
